With an interest in all things visual from a young age, growing up Elizabeth acquired a borderline unhealthy obsession with magazines (she has a six feet high stash in her parents' garage to prove it) funded by a Saturday job face painting for children’s parties. This interest led her to Leeds University where she spent three years studying for a degree in History of Art. Alongside spending far too much time in fancy dress (the face painting came in handy) and perfecting her baking skills Elizabeth spent her summers interning at magazines in her hometown, London.
After placements at various print publications including Cosmopolitan, Elizabeth found her calling in the fast paced world of online and honed her writing skills (and indulged her love of beauty) at Glamour.com and The Telegraph’s fashion and beauty site. After a stint writing content for an online footwear brand, Elizabeth realised she had amassed enough lipsticks to rival her shoe collection and the world of beauty called again.
As Get The Gloss’ Editorial Assistant Elizabeth can be found writing daily news, compiling regular features including ‘My Week in Food’ and ‘An Appointment With’ and dabbling in the weird and wonderful fitness classes on offer.
