Growing up with two older sisters, Hanna often marvelled at their makeup collection (she may have even nicked an eye shadow or nail polish here or there) and developed a love for all things beauty.
During her degree in English and Film Studies, she found herself re-creating scenes from The Usual Suspects and writing essays on scary children in horror. To give herself a break, she became a writer for her university magazine and found herself reporting backstage at London Fashion Week, where she realised that she may have stumbled on to her perfect career. Following a successful digital internship at Now Online, she confirmed that journalism was the only way to go and once she got her BA, Hanna set off to study MA Magazine Journalism at City University London.
While learning how to construct sentences, she dabbled in all kinds of writing during a range of internships from Times Higher Education and Times LUXX to Stylist, British Vogue and Grazia. After graduating, she realised that beauty journalism was her true calling and her love for cosmetics led her to the wonderful Get The Gloss.
Her days as a member of the Glosse Posse are varied, from assisting with experts and bloggers, Blogger of the Week, writing news and compiling 12 Weekend Wonders.
