Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara in Wild Plum, £27

“If you are as much of a fan of burgundy mascara as I am then this new limited edition one needs to be added to your must-try list before it disappears. It has the same lash lengthening mascara wand as the original Bad Gal Band mascara, and the same creamy and non-flaking formula just in a gorgeous purple-red-brown tone. I’m predicting Benefit will make it a mainstay as it is so flattering - making blue eyes look brighter and giving gorgeous definition to darker lashes too.”

Isle of Paradise Brilliantly Bright Polish, £24.95

“If anyone knows how to put together a well-formulated body scrub that won’t scratch and aggravate but slough away dead skin, fake tan and whatever else it needs to get rid of, then it’s celebrity tanner, Jules Von Hep an expert in prepping skin to look its best. In its bright yellow packaging it adds a moment of joy in the shower and the product inside is equally excellent too. It has a gorgeous, expensive-smelling scent that lingers on the skin post-shower and has a lovely creamy consistency that feels nourishing and hydrating as you rub it over. It contains glow-boosting vitamin C, nourishing naicinamide and hydrating hyaluronic acid and really does leave your skin looking and feeling better for having used it.”

Saie Glowy Super Gel in Roseglow, £22

"Meet the latest shade to join the Glowy Super Gel family - a gorgeous rose bronze tone. For those that are unfamiliar with Glowy Super Gel it does exactly as it sounds, it’s a multipurpose glow-creating highlighter that now comes in three shades. You can add a pump to your skincare and apply all over or use it as more of a makeup product and apply on the high points on the face as a highlighter. I prefer the former as I adore the all over glow it gives - radiant and glowy without any sparkle or shimmer.”

Bare by Vogue Tinted Gradual Tan, £20

"As a busy working mum, full-on fake tans require too much precision and time which is why I veer towards gradual tans which allow for a lot more user error, but rarely result in any. And this new tinted one makes life even easier thanks to its tinted formula which means you can see where you’ve applied and where you haven’t. It has an almost gel-like consistency so it sinks in without leaving you feeling sticky and is packed with hydrating ingredients such as vitamin E and glycerin so you can definitely swerve the usual body lotion in its place. The colour develops over a few hours to the most stunning natural sunkissed glow."

Paula’s Choice 5% Vitamin C Sheer Moisturiser SPF50, £46

"The avalanche of new daily SPFs will not abate, and that’s to the benefit of all of us. This is a particularly nice one - extremely light, quenching and non-greasy, with solidly high UVA and UVB protection. But its main party piece is a good level of stable vitamin C, the antioxidant that’s often classified as ‘the third ring’ of UV protection as it’s so good at mopping up free radicals that manage to bypass your sun filters. This lotion gives you an instant glow as well, so it’s a great all-round daily moisturiser."

Elyse Verdant X Shelly Vella Aromatic Mood Oil, £34

"Forest bathing is not a nonsense -the mind-soothing, mood-altering benefits i feel whenever I go running in my hometown forest are all too real. Many have tried to bottle the experience in scented oils but none as successfully as this one, created in collaboration with nature-loving fashion director Shelly Vella . The whole forest is in this fragrance, from the pine needles to the bright sappy tang of cracked twigs and leaves underfoot to clots of earth to unexpected wafts of creamy sweetness from flowers and resins. Just breathe and let those natural chemicals heal and console you."

Klira The Body Special Chest & Hands, £99

"Klira, by dermatologist Emma Craythorne, make bespoke skincare formulations that rely on proven active ingredients only. The brand’s first body product is a universal formula though, unsurprisingly built around Emma’s favourite ingredient, azelaic acid. Underrated and under-used for too long (and until now barely ever seen in body care) azelaic will calm, balance sebum, brighten skin and battle pigmentation. The latter two properties are the focus for this light creamy formula for your neck and hands, so often first to give your age away with a rash of sudden brown spots. Used consistently, this will visibly fade those."

Welleco The Evening Elixir, £35

"Supplement drinks are routinely touted as ‘delicious’, but in my experience they tend to be quite the opposite. Not so with this concoction, which manages to taste identical to Nesquick (the powdered chocolate milk of my youth) but delivers far more impressive active nutrition. There’s passionflower, lemon balm and magnesium to soothe before bedtime, vitamins B3 and C to support your skin, and acerola cherry and fair-trade cocoa for potent antioxidant protection. Works cold or hot for a healthy treat."

Naturium The Purifier Niacinamide Serum Body Wash, £18

"My shower routine has levelled up thanks to this new niacinamide body wash. The blend of niacinamide and glycerin, not only cleanses thoroughly but also hydrates, soothes and helps regulate body oil production. Use like a regular shower gel and let the rich, bubbly foam create a spa-worthy experience, leaving your skin moisturised and smooth - no dry or stripped feeling skin post-shower this summer!"

Guerlain Leopard Print Rouge G Lipstick Case, £32

"I’m obsessed with accessories and what better way to elevate your style than with this new lipstick case. Available in nine exclusive patterns at Harrods, I opted for the leopard. They all contain a handy compact mirror, minimising the risk of messy touch-ups on the go and are compatible with all Guerlain lipstick refills. Simply slot in your shade of choice, adding a more glamorous touch to this classic handbag essential."

"We all want to maintain healthy skin as long as possible, and Caroline Hirons' newest launch - an antioxidant serum - is here to help. Formulated to protect your face from pollution, UV rays and everyday environmental factors, it's packed with a selection of powerful ingredients to preserve collagen, reduce hyperpigmentation, and minimise overall signs of ageing. Incorporate a few pumps into your morning or evening routine, post-cleanser. This might just be the secret weapon we need to slow down the hands of time."

Morphe Hot Shot Sun Drops, £16

"If you’re looking for a versatile makeup find, step this way! These bronzing drops can be used as a liquid bronzer, as a contour to sculpt specific areas of your face or be mixed with moisturiser to transform it into a tinted moisturiser. It's quite pigmented so start with a couple of drops and build up for a deeper effect. Enriched with vitamin E, glycerin and niacinamide, your skin feels smooth and hydrated."

Dr Jart+ Brightamin Brightening Serum Ampoule, £38

"I’m a big fan of this fresh mix formula. It comes with a freeze-dried ball of vitamin C - packed with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties - and niacinamide, both known for their radiance-boosting effects. You drop it in the bottle of serum and give it a vigorous shake to combine. After applying a few drops of the amber liquid, my skin looked instantly glowier and brighter, without it feeling too sticky. It lasted me about a month, using twice daily (which is how long they recommend using it for). I’d recommend combining with their matching new vitamin C based Brightening Eye Serum Stick, £45, too - much more long-lasting - which is the most fuss-free way I’ve found to apply an eye cream. One swipe under and in the corners of your eyes smoothes fine lines and makes you look more awake."

Rodial Bee Venom Hydrogel Face Mask, £20

"This luxury gold face mask really is the bee’s knees. It contains ethically-sourced bee venom melittin peptides, which help to firm and smooth the skin; as well as moisturising hyaluronic acid and red algae extract. The metallic mask itself looks as fabulous as it does terrifying (and gave my flatmate a scare in the kitchen - yes, I just wanted to show it off), with a jelly texture that moulds to your face like a second skin. There’s a deliciously cooling effect, too, during the 20-30 minutes that you leave it on. And, it left my skin looking noticeably plumper and perkier. Perfect for channelling diva energy during party prep: but beware, you won’t want to take it off!"

Neom Real Luxury Cocooning Shower Cream, £30

"As much as I love my two-hour baths, sometimes there’s only time to hop in the shower for a few minutes. But this milky body cleanser is a spa short-cut, upgrading even the most mundane mid-week routine into a relaxation ritual. It contains skincare ingredients such as evening primrose oil, aloe vera and glycerin, to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. Plus, I found that it lathers best when applied via a net shower puff - which releases a heady, de-stressing cocktail of lavender, cedar wood and chamomile as you massage it in. (You can also treat yourself for your next trip with the 50ml mini version, £8)."

Clarins Lip Oil Balm, £27

"This is the fanciest lip balm I’ve ever used - and it looks like a lipstick, with its silver base and sheer pink casing (which even intrigued a Vaseline-diehard friend, when I pulled it out at the pub this weekend). But it is actually a solid version of their cult Lip Comfort Oil, containing similarly moisturising skincare ingredients: including hazelnut, sweetbriar rose and jojoba oils - all of which nourish without an oily feeling. You can apply it on its own, for a soothing balm with a subtle tint (there are six shades to choose from - my favourite is lychee, a dusky rose). It makes your lips look plumper and glossier, but without feeling sticky. Plus, you can it sweep over the top of a bolder lipstick for extra hydration."
