Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge is a fan of our favourite neutral palette too

Urban Decay’s infamous Naked palette is the go-to for most beauty junkies thanks to its wardrobe of please-all neutrals, and now it’s got the royal seal of approval too.

Kate Middleton has reportedly been sharing her top makeup tricks with our favourite First Lady, Michelle Obama, and named the original Naked palette as her must-have for enhancing eyes. Well-known for doing her own makeup (even on her wedding day, after a quick lesson from makeup artist and GTG expert Arabella Preston ), the Duchess is well-placed to recommend the products she relies on first-hand. Just last week it was reported that Michelle Obama’s makeup artist revealed Kate Middleton had recommended Biotulin, a more natural alternative to Botox , which claims to have a skin-smoothing effect within an hour of use.

Her Highness’s love of the Naked palette comes as no surprise to any beauty lover - with one sold every five seconds globally, it’s one of the bestselling palettes of all time, becoming a household essential since its launch in 2011.

The Duchess herself has fast become a fashion and beauty icon too, from her ever immaculate blow-dries to her  ability to look great during pregnancy  - it’s no wonder other women look to her for beauty advice.

The Naked range is a glossy posse favourite too; to celebrate the launch of the Naked Vault, a collection of all six editions of the palette, we road-tested the entire range of nudes and neutrals for day and evening looks and had nothing but positive reviews for the looks we were able to create - check out our  Naked Vault review here  for the full lowdown.

The Naked eyeshadow palette is £38.50 and available  here
