This month we’ve compiled some of the best new beauty products that have landed on our desk and the great news is they all cost under £15. That’s right. At the cheapest end of the scale we’ve got the genius makeup sponges that cost under £3 and have gone viral on TikTok (and if it's TikTok you're interested in then we found TikToks best perfumes). At the spenniest end of our edit is a luxurious Sanctuary bath oil with a non-luxury price tag of £14. Once again proving that spending less doesn’t mean compromising on quality and results.

The game-changing base product: Maybelline Superstay Hybrid Powder-Foundation, £11.99

“As someone with oily skin prone to shine, powder is a staple in my makeup bag. I don’t use it all over but when my skin has crossed over from looking glowy to looking greasy, a quick dab of powder is what is required. However, not all powders are created equal. I find a lot of them very cakey,, but not this one. It is a powder-meets foundation and gives full coverage so I was worried it was going to feel heavy but it’s feather-light on the skin and you feel like your skin can breathe through it. I only use it for touch-ups (purely because i favour the best skin tints to rock that no makeup makeup look) but you can easily use this as your sole base product, such is its coverage ability. As you would expect from Maybelline it has 16 shades and also has amazing staying power.” SJ Corfield-Smith, GTG Beauty Director

The self-care partner: 7th Heaven Nutriactive Skincare Bundle, £4.99

"Who doesn't love a sheet mask? Whether you’re an avid user or someone who picks one up on a whim, a budget sheet mask is perfect for a self-care treat. 7th Heaven has a sheet mask to help every skin type and concern out there. The newest addition is the Nutriactive Capsule range which includes three different masks, one with vitamin C to help brighten the skin, one with hyaluronic acid to help with hydration and increase skins moisture retention and the last includes retinol to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and increase collagen production. Three sheet masks for under £5, what’s not to love? Sheet masks help prevent the active ingredients from evaporating off the skin, forcing the ingredients to work their magic. I love to use these after a hard day at work or even with friends on a girly night on the weekend." Christina Callaghan, GTG Commercial Director

The instant hair reviver and hydrator:  Batiste Dry Conditioner, £3.49

"We’ve all heard of dry shampoo (btw do you know about the new Olaplex Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo?)  but have you heard of dry conditioner? Surprisingly I hadn’t until Batiste unveiled their brand new foaming one in 3 different scents (Tropical is my favourite). It is similar to a leave in conditioner but you can apply it to dry hair in between washes. This lightweight foam quickly absorbs and dries into the hair, helping to detangle any knots and revitalise dull hair. This left my hair smooth and shiny and kept me going a bit longer between washes, whilst using Batiste’s Naturally Dry Shampoo on my roots." Amy Rostas, GTG Beauty and Social Media Assistant

The only styling product you need: Hair Proud All inclusive - 5-in-1 Protection Milk, £8.95

"Back in lockdown, I was raving about new budget beauty brand Skin Proud. Fast forward a few years and they’ve now added a new addition to the Proud Family, Hair Proud. With accessibility, inclusivity and efficacy all at its core — I immediately knew this would be a hit too. I’ve been trialling a few products and I’m enjoying them all but the one I continually reach for is this five-in-one protection milk. It's a multi-tasking leave-in treatment spray that hydrates, detangles, smooth and protects your hair up to 230 degrees and adds envious shine. It uses niacinamide and wheat protein to help condition and protect your locks — think of it as body lotion for your hair. It’s my hair styling hero." The epic mascara: No7 4D Lift and Curl Mascara, £11.95

"I’m a big fan of No7 mascaras, they do some of the best budget mascara in my opinion. So when I spotted they launched a new 4D Lift and Curl mascara I was first in that Boots queue. It’s been formulated to lift, lengthen, curl the lashes and add volume. The brush has a domed-tip which both grips and elongates the lashes. I’ve been using it now for a couple of weeks and am happy to report, the effect is both natural and amplified. It glides on, does not clump and at night cleanses off easily. I’ve been applying a couple of layers for extra definition and if you want more va-va-voom try using an eyelash curler first. This new formulation includes flax seed extract to moisturise, smooth and add shine to the lashes. Plus a jojoba derivative to strengthen. I’m wearing the black, but it’s also available in brown and is suitable for sensitive eyes." Marie-Louise Pumfrey, GTG contributor

The eye bag blitzer: Upcircle Metal Eye Roller,£8.70

“Beauty tools needn’t cost the earth, quite literally when it comes to Upcircle, the young British beauty brand that’s as eco as it gets. This carbon-negative plastic-free metal eye roller is a lovely cooling way to massage in your eye cream for greater absorption, without the dragging effect that fingers can cause. What’s more, it’s double-ended, with the handle tapering into a hygienic spatula for scooping out your cream. This is especially useful now that the brand has removed the plastic pump from its best-selling caffeine eye cream (Eye Cream with Coffee and Hyaluronic Acid for Dark Circles, £12.99) in favour of an open glass pot. I love the fact that the roller looks like it stepped off a farrow and Ball paint chart (could that be Mizzle or Slipper Satin?).” Victoria Woodhall, GTG Editorial Director

The silky-soft liquid lipstick: NYX Professional Makeup Smooth Whip Matte Lip Cream, £6

"I love a matte lip but, I think like lots of people, have found many liquid lipsticks to feel super drying and a bit heavy to wear. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this however I am always very happy to be proven wrong and it has gone straight into my makeup bag. As the name suggests it has a light, almost mousse-like consistency, which dries quickly without feeling tight on the skin, in fact, it feels silky smooth. The pigment payoff is brilliant and there are 24 amazing shades to choose from ranging from inky black, all the nudes, bright reds, oranges and pinks as well as a teal blue which I’m not quite brave enough to try but I know there are Get The Gloss readers who could definitely rock it!" The elevated cleansing water: Garnier Micellar Gentle Peeling Water All-in-1, £3.99

“Containing 1 per cent PHA and glycolic acid, the latest addition to Garnier’s micellar water collection does all the things you need a micellar water to do - lightly cleansing and removing makeup - but with an extra gentle exfoliation hit too. And it really is super gentle, so much so that you can use this on your eyes without it stinging, and it lifts dirt and makeup away while also making it feel smoother. If you’re using it in the morning then make sure you apply a daily SPF on top.”SJCS

The return of an icon: Glossier Balm Dotcom in Wild Fig, £12

"I know what you’re thinking ‘this isn’t a new launch from Glossier’ and it kind of is and it itsn't. Glossier has brought back the highly adored, limited edition Wild Fig balm dotcom and this time it's for good. Not only that, but all glossier balm dotcoms have been reformulated without petrolatum making it vegan-friendly whilst still leaving lips hydrated and plump, thanks to vitamin E. They have also been given an upgrade with a brand new ‘no-touch’ applicator (easier to apply). The glossier balmdotcom lip balms are loved by everyone in the GTG office and this delicious Wild fig has quickly become my new favourite (it smells good enough to eat), leaving your lips with a delicious coral tint - perfect for the spring/summer months." The skin softening bath soak: Sanctuary Spa Signature Natural Oils Two-Phase Bath Oil, £14

"I’ve been a big fan of Sanctuary Spa, ever since luxe fashion and beauty influencer Melissa’s Wardrobe shared that the Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub, £10 is the best body scrub ever and this bath buy is now a new fave. It’s a two-phase formula, which means it blends a honey-like bath oil and a cleansing milk to create a rich foamy lather. You shake it before pouring a capful to running hot water, and you’re left with a tub of joy. Bubbles, a light delicate fragrance of jasmine grapefruit and vanilla and nourishing natural oils leave your skin baby smooth after. Plus, a little goes a long way with the formula so the bottle lasts forever!" JT

The hair strengthening shampoo: L’Oreal Paris Elvive Bond Repair Shampoo, £11.99

"As someone who regularly gets their hair coloured, I’m no stranger to in-salon bonding treatments but I’m a bit late to the at-home bond repair hair treatments, until now. This range, which consists of pre-shampoo treatment, shampoo and conditioner as well as a leave-in serum, is the latest one to hit the shelves and I’ve been really impressed. Like all bonding products, it contains clever ingredients that can get into the hair and bond damaged hair back together. Unlike all the others it doesn’t come with a super hefty price tag. The shampoo and conditioner have left my hair feeling in much better condition, it looks shinier and it’s been so much easier to style. The products seem to be on offer at the minute too which makes it even better." Christian Callaghan, Commerical Director

The cute cleanser: Tea & Tonic Limited Edition Heart Cleansing Balm, £12

"If you haven’t yet discovered Tea and Tonic, this ethical brand puts stress-balancing adaptogens into both skincare and tea to make the most beautifully crafted wellness products that support you inside and out. I love all of their wellness teas, particularly the Golden Milk sleep tea, But this little gem, in a gorgeous heart-shaped tin caught my eye. It’s the brand’s award-winning The Meadow’s Secret cleansing balm in a limited edition mini, great for gifting and for travel. It’s a cleansing balm that feels like a real moment of me-time with powerful botanicals and a melting texture, as well as getting every scrap of makeup off including eye makeup.”VW

The brightening eye pencil: 3ina The 24h Automatic Eye Pencil in 302, £12

“I can’t remember which makeup artist told me (I want to say Hannah Martin) about lining your bottom waterline with a nude/ flesh eyeliner to instantly make your eyes look wide awake and alert but I’ve been doing it ever since. It’s a quick, genius and effective tip but there aren’t that many eyeliners out there that are the right shade. However, this has now gone straight into my makeup bag as it’s the perfect colour for my skin and eyes, it’s super creamy so glides on really easily (is there anything worse than having to tug on an eyeliner) and you simply twist it up to keep it sharp - no sharpener required, because who can ever find one?!” SJCS

The powder puffs that went viral: Triangle Powder Puffs, £2.99 for 4

"If you haven’t seen these little powder puffs all across your social media let me introduce you to my new ride or die. These triangular little puffs are the perfect tool to create a flawless base - get rid of your mould harbouring sponges and try one of these instead. Also, what a bargain btw! They work best with loose powder (Huda Beauty Easy Bake is my current go to), pick up a little product with the puff and gently pat the product into your problem area, the pointy tip makes it super easy to apply product under the eye and around the nose. I am never going back to a sponge now, these are more hygienic and easier to clean." AR

The breathe better bubble bath: Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Breathe Well Bath Essence, £7

“Colds and coughs seem to be a constant accessory in my household at the minute. If you have a similar situation then can I introduce you to this new bath soak? It’s filled with eucalyptus and peppermint, which are brilliant for helping with decongestion. My five-year-old isn’t a fan of the usual rubs and oils to help her breathe through a stuffy nose, but this she could abide - nay enjoyed! I seem to have escaped the lurgy (so far) but I’ve also enjoyed it to just add a bit more soothing and warmth to my bath.” SJCS
