Having harboured a passion for beauty from a young age, Cassie completed a degree in Law and moved into the cosmetics industry by taking a job as a Beauty Buyer at Boots in Nottingham. She grew incredibly frustrated at the number of poor performing products that came across her desk and decided to move into product development, where she could apply her creativity to bring products to the market that would satisfy customers’ needs.

After a stint developing skincare and sun care for Soltan, Cassie made the big move to London, where she began working for PZ Cussons Beauty on The Sanctuary Spa account. She believes that skincare is extremely important, as she recognises that without a great canvas, makeup often doesn't look as polished as it should. While working with The Sanctuary Spa, she developed her own award-winning skin care and body care range. Cassie then moved on to L’Oreal, where she launched their biggest skincare range to date, Revitalift Laser Renew, before settling for a new adventure outside of skincare at Topshop Beauty.

Being a relatively new brand, Cassie has relished the freedom to create new collections and concept ranges and also work on new shade collections. In order to ensure that she is one step ahead of industry trends, Cassie travels to Milan and Paris monthly for development sessions. She also takes “Inspiration Trips” seasonally to help to create new ranges, which has seen her travel to Hong Kong, China, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and New York. Cassie’s main priority concerns the quality of her products - when buying Topshop makeup you’re guaranteed to be getting some luxurious loot, priced for the high street. Genius.
