In addition to training stars, top-level athletes and corporate heavyweights, Jane is a resident fitness expert on ITV's Lorraine Show and has appeared on BBC Breakfast, as well as filming her own exercise DVD series and writing for both Zest and Pregnancy and Birth magazines. A pre and post-natal fitness expert, she expanded her Body A-Wake consultancy to include Baby A-Wake, a concept designed to enhance the health, wellbeing and exercise habits of mothers and mothers-to-be.

Jane's approach is research-lead and based on the idea that, pre and post-birth, it makes sense to be as fit as possible. Drawing on her extensive Pilates and martial arts training, Jane's classes focus on making you leaner, stronger and calmer, and she believes that there's no reason that you can't snap back to your pre-pregnancy shape (or even better!). Her gentle yet powerful exercises encourage blood flow, speeding up healing and strengthening your inner core as well as those all important pelvic floors.

Off duty, Jane certainly doesn't put her feet up. Personal highlights include confronting her fear of heights to climb the Pitons for charity in St Lucia and taking five young sportswomen to China with Nike ahead of the Beijing Olympics. I turn 50 this year and have been menopausal for the past 2 years. I've finally gotten on HRT which has help in most ways except my waist. I've gained 25lbs that I can't seem to lose. I eat pretty healthy and exercise 3-4x wk at home. I have rheumatoid arthritis so am limited on some types of exercises, but I do low impact and isometrics, elliptical, 10-15lb weights, etc. I just need to know what else I can do to lose this 20-25 lbs! Any ideas?
