Having suffered a shoulder injury aged 21 and forced to endure nine months of intense physio, Kirsty decided to look for alternative methods of recovery. Kirsty found her calling in yoga and the practise worked wonders on her injury. A few years later and tired of the fast pace life of working in media Kirsty took herself to India for three months of yoga but it wasn’t till end of 2014 that she decided it was time to quit her hectic job at Stylist to pursue her passion full time.
Completing her teacher training in Hawaii wasn't as glamorous as it might sound with an intense program of practising, studying and learning teaching techniques but the course did leave her more than prepared for starting her own yoga company, Pop Up Practice - a new kind of yoga school that pops up all over London offering a fun and fresh approach to the practice. Fancy yoga to hip-hop or sun saluting by candlelight? Kirsty is your girl. When she is not introducing new styles of yoga to beginners and yogis alike, Kirsty will also come to your office at lunch to add a little zen to your day as well as offering one to one private classes.
