Kristy Cimesa is the founder and managing director of Elemental Herbology, a naturally indulgent skincare brand that treats the skin with the use of herbs, vitamins and antioxidants.

Australian born, Kristy moved to England 14 years ago and began a career in the spa and skincare industry. It was while working for Space NK that Kristy identified a distinctive difference between chemical based and more natural skincare brands. The high-performance ranges rarely delivered on a wellbeing level, whilst more holistic brands tended not to perform as efficiently. She felt inspired to create a skincare range that fused bioscience and aromatherapeutic plant extracts; the resulting products wield clinically proven results whilst retaining a luxurious, spa-like feel. In short, what every woman (and man for that matter) wants in the bathroom cabinet.

Aside from Elemental Herbology’s impeccable credentials as a natural, homegrown and results-driven company, what distinguishes the brand in the skincare market is its seasonal approach to skincare. Products are formulated on the basis that skin changes throughout the year, and to reflect this Kristy has created a range of seasonal skincare to restore balance regardless of environmental changes, age and hormones, all factors that can disrupt the skin’s condition and appearance.

Not only is Kristy a skincare specialist but she has also spent 3 months training as a third generation acupuncture and shiatsu master in Japan (casual). She has travelled the world to explore global healing, spa rituals and the effectiveness of natural botanicals. She’s unique, intelligent and always evolving- just like her products we reckon.
