Hailing from France with 15 years of exceptional experience behind him, Mathieu is relied upon by the world’s most powerful, glamorous women to create beautiful style and colour at the drop of a hat. He jets around the globe by special arrangement but has strong client bases in Paris, London and Los Angeles, thanks to his incredible skill, versatility and discretion. His attention to detail and luxe aesthetic was honed when he took up the position of artistic director at The Ritual Rooms in Marylebone, a unique London salon where clients receive a bespoke service in private treatment rooms. After a stint in Beverley Hills Mathieu returned to London to bring his highly tailored, superior service to clients’ homes.

Mathieu visited our tester on a Sunday evening (talk about work ethic), and was the most charming, handsome man to walk through the door in quite some time (excepting of course said tester’s boyfriend…). His consultation was thorough; he really listens and ensures that you’re fully on board with his marvellous ideas. He gave our mole a blunt, swingy cut, glossy blow dry and invaluable styling wisdom along the way. There was no stress, no faff and no post-salon weather mishaps to speak of. Mathieu allows you to put your feet up, relax and be a bit of a slob if you so desire (you might want to wear your best pyjamas when he comes round though).
