Mark became passionate about varicose vein treatments when he was a lecturer in Oxford, and couldn't understand why both doctors and patients accept that "varicose veins always come back". In 1999 he performed the first endovenous varicose vein operation in the UK (also called "keyhole surgery" for varicose veins) and has become world famous for treating pelvic veins in females with pelvic vein problems.
He and his team have undertaken much research into how to better treat varicose veins, thread veins and leg ulcers and they strive to consistently bring the very latest treatments to patients. Our insider informant has reported that he’s as quick and professional as they come as far as vein procedures are concerned.
