Rose-Marie never had aspirations to become a make-up artist - she has fashion in her blood. Her mother was a designer whose quirky styling of both herself and her daughters caught the eye of Coco Chanel on a transatlantic boat journey, and Rose-Marie herself went on to become quite handy with a needle before picking up a make-up brush. And she turned out to be quite nimble with that too…

Rose-Marie’s creative flair and artistic vision soon caught the attention of top editors and designers, and she has been commissioned by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Louis Vuitton to name but a few. She’s a photographer favourite, having worked with Annie Leibovitz, Patrick Demarchelier and Mario Sorrenti, and supers such as Gisele Bündchen and Miranda Kerr rely on Swift’s stroke of genius to look ravishing at events and in campaigns. Not bad for a lady who started out singing in bands… although she ensures her vocal chords remain shipshape by serenading Miranda’s dog.

Rose-Marie’s talents don’t end there; she also has a knack for chemistry and a head for business, having launched her own organic RMS Beauty line in 2008. After experiencing health difficulties triggered by toxic chemicals within cosmetics, Rose-Marie felt passionately about developing natural, non-harmful products that gave great results without endangering our health or the environment. Her range has gone from strength to strength, as has Rose-Marie herself, and she has since created a website to dispel beauty myths, expose the dangers of many common cosmetic ingredients and provide natural beauty tips.
