It seems we may all have more in common with actress and model Sienna Miller than first thought. As she launches her edit of 18 plus pieces from the new autumn collection with Marks & Spencer, she shared her first encounter with the high street store which is a familiar one. “My earliest memory of M&S is shopping for my first bra." Yep, us too Sienna.
She continues, “today, my M&S go-to is probably cashmere knitwear, for example a cashmere jumper. I tend to wear my jumpers with a great pair of vintage jeans and some jewellery to make it more eclectic.” You will be pleased to know there are a few great jumpers to choose from her edit, more on those in a bit.

Sienna teams this with a bomber jacket and belt to give it more of a casual feel but this dress is so versatile it can also be teamed with heels for a night out. We love the colours and the flattering cut too.

A winter coat should be an investment that will work for everything you need it too and this is equally at home being worn on the way to work as it would be for a chilly afternoon in the park with the kids.
The goes-with-everything piece: Tailored Waistcoat, £39.50
In the campaign images, Sienna wears this tailored waistcoat with a long sleeve top and matching baggy trousers and blazer - tres chic. But it also works really well layered over a dress or with your favourite pair of jeans.
The figure flatterer: Satin Midaxi Slip Skirt, £35
Available in three colours - lime, chocolate brown and black - and from size 6 to 24, this skirt is the perfect length. Wear it with trainers and a chunky jumper for a cosy and casual look or add a co-ordinating top for a more elegant effect.

Coming in this statement lime shade as well as a more neutral grey, we predict this is going to be the sellout item from the collection. Not only because we all need a warm sweater for the colder weather but because Sienna is wearing it in one of the strongest images from the collection so it's bound to fly off the shelves.
The bargain wardrobe staple: Faux Shearling Borg Lined Aviator Jacket, £79
Aviator jackets are one of those pieces that everyone should have in their wardrobe. It looks fabulous over a slinky dress on a night out but also elevates your favourite comfy tracksuit when you're on a late night supermarket dash! Warm and cosy and this one comes with a bargain price tag too. You can't go wrong.

We love the pairing of this casual bomber with an elegant dress but it will also work over your gym gear whether you're heading out to exercise or just to grab a coffee (we recommend doing both in it!).
The take it everywhere bag: Faux Leather Top Handle Grab Bag, £35
Trust us when we say that this shade of lime meets chartreuse is going to be everywhere this autumn but if you're not 100 per cent about wearing it on your body then why not carry it over your arm instead. And in true M&S style it is super practical with a removable shoulder strap so it can be worn across the body, over your shoulder or even as a clutch bag as Ms Miller does in the TV advert for the collection.
The hair saver: Pure Cotton Baseball Cap, £12.50
Whether you've got to dash out the door on the school run, are doing a rainy dog walk or going for a run, if you either need to conceal greasy hair or protect your head then a baseball cap is a must-have. Sienna sports the faded black version of this in the campaign images, but at time of writing it had already sold out so grab the white version instead.
The everyday trainer: Chunky Mesh Detail Trainers, £49.50
Sienna wears these chunky trainers with a suit for that high-low fashion mix that she's all about but, of course, they work with your everyday sports leggings, joggers or with anything you're wearing when you want your feet to feel supported and comfortable.
