We are looking for a highly motivated individual to grow sales globally for premium fashion brand Cefinn. The Sales and Marketing Director will lead our E-commerce and Marketing teams and use the strength of these two functions combined to drive our customer acquisition, engagement and retention. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial focus, a hands-on approach and a track record of managing high-performance growth teams in a direct-to-consumer environment.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to stand out in an entrepreneurial environment. It provides scope to learn and lead in a fast-growing and dynamic company and will sit as part of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO. You will be working in a small, dynamic and fast- growing team based in west London.


  • Hands-on management of high growth digital plan, owning and driving the brand’s customer acquisition, engagement and retention strategy

  • Provide day-to-day leadership for E-commerce and Marketing teams (today four in team)

  • Strong performance-driven leadership with clear KPI targets, following up daily, weekly and monthly with teamon digital performance

  • Ownership of E-commerce P&L, including developing and managing cost and sales budgets

  • Oversee the end-to-end E-commerce user experience, including ensuring the site provides a high-quality customer journey with strong visual merchandising and content strategy, site navigation, checkout function etc, value adding customer service function and up to date developments and site security at all times

  • Develop and manage clear performance KPIs for all marketing activities

  • Implement and oversee a strong and successful CRM program, working actively with segmented retention marketing

  • Strategy and implementation of all digital marketing activities, including PPC, Social Media Advertising, Display, SEO and Google Shopping

  • Prepare clear orders for asset needed (digital and print) to be requested from Creative Director’s team of content creators

  • Lead performance on non-digital marketing channels such as direct mail catalogues

  • Owning the overall Cefinn omnichannel approach to customer acquisition, data and CRM. While the P&L and operation responsibility for Retail (currently popup and trunk show) does not sit under this role, we expect the Sales Director to optimise customer acquisition, retention and data collection in relation to all Cefinn events. This also includes driving customer acquisition through brand collaborations, influencer partnerships and PR activities

  • Build long term E-commerce development plan and key involvement in multichannel projects as key stakeholder

  • Constantly looking for new business growth opportunities together with CEO & Creative Director and Finance Director

This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes.


  • Extensive experience within an E-Commerce retail environment, where you have demonstrated excellent leadership skills and track record of growing sales online

  • Extensive experience leading omnichannel marketing activities, CRM programs and segmented retention marketing

  • Extensive experience with Web analytics programs, such as Google Analytics and other platforms

  • Having worked in a high growth company is highly meriting

  • Previous experience of brand collaborations and influencer partnerships highly meriting


  • Commercially focused and driven by sales growth through customer acquisition and retention

  • Ability to adhere to budgets and deliver exceptional results within a fast-paced retail environment

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build strong teams and develop individuals to ensure longevity in roles

  • Data-driven and analytical with a strong ability to use data to develop and measure campaigns

  • Very comfortable using data to make recommendations and drive decisions and have a solid knowledge of website analytics tools, with excellent Google Analytics skills

  • A strong, energetic character, able to positively communicate strategic ideas and adapt to changing requirements effectively

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
