We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to support the development of ELEMIS’ owned social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, and the day to day delivery of social media content. To support the adaption of PR and marketing campaigns into compelling consumer facing social activity that ensures relevant engaging conversations across the channels are initiated, maintained and harnessed. To provide expertise around influencer communities, helping to drive relationships and plan outreach activities in order to convert influencers to brand advocates, driving social media conversation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the ELEMIS social media channels and engage with the ELEMIS community, ensuring that all queries are responded to by the Customer Care team in an appropriate and timely manner

  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution of social media content across all social media channels, created in collaboration with the Digital Engagement Manager

  • Responsible for delivering regular reporting and analytics

  • Manage the preparation of in-house and warehouse mailing as required to secure coverage.

  • Keep track of competitor social media activity and share with the team regularly

  • Responsible for monitoring the activity of key influencers and maintaining the influencer database. Identify influencers for ELEMIS to engage with and plan targeted outreach.

  • Supporting on the identification of appropriate brand partners and the execution of the social and content areas of a brand partnership

  • Contribute to social media campaign ideas

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure an Omni channel experience across the ELEMIS social media platforms

Who we are looking for:

  • Educated to degree level

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferable

  • Strong interest and knowledge in social media

  • Good level of creative writing skills highly desirable

  • Genuine interest in the beauty industry

  • Excellent people skills: build collaborative relationships with all key teams

  • Possess outstanding administrational skills and exceptional attention to detail and spelling

  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational, communication and writing skills

  • Excellent level of computer literacy in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
