We are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop the retail marketing strategy and animation calendar for ELEMIS driven by and adapted from the Global strategy and marketing calendars, supported by a Retail Marketing Executive.


  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for all new launches in the ELEMIS UK retail channel through strong in-store execution, media partnerships, advertising, retailer packages, online campaigns and experiential events.

  • Adapt the global marketing calendar to maximise sales opportunities, drive customer retention and customer service excellence, increase ATV and develop customer acquisition programmes.

  • Maximise the sales and margin of all NPD, core and promotional activity within the retail channel.

  • Create bespoke retail and treatment marketing plans

  • Develop key account management approach with retailer buying and marketing teams

  • Maximise treatment activation and occupancy for ELEMIS via consultation and treatment programs through spa bar workshops, Spa pods, and treatment rooms (where applicable).

  • Ensure strong visual brand presence in retail, maximise brand experience and promotional activation opportunities.

  • Full accountability for the retail marketing budget.

  • Develop strong internal relationships ensure timely communication of all marketing plans

  • Proactively and clearly communicate all retail initiatives with key stakeholders

  • Drive CRM strategy in retail, managing robust data collection, and creating comprehensive brand campaigns to support the marketing calendar and driving customers to retail.

  • Develop the retailer exclusive GWP and sampling strategy for the UK retail channel.

  • Work with the Elemis.com team to maximize omni-channel approach for ELEMIS

  • Identify and optimise the brand presence on retailer websites

  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to for brand, event, treatment and launch activity.

  • Create a best practice tool kit for retail activations for use in global territories.

  • Work with PR teams to ensure maximum PR coverage for retail and treatment marketing campaigns

  • Manage, develop and coach the retail marketing executive

  • Keep abreast of key competitor launches, GWP and marketing activities with retailers to ensure we are at the forefront of competitive intelligence and communicate this internally.


  • Educated to degree level, preferably Marketing or Business orientated

  • Senior level of experience working in a retail, brand or trade marketing role – ideally beauty experience

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the UK department store trade

  • Strong relationship skills with a proven track record of success in managing retailer relationships

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience on determining return on investment

  • Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
