We are a very dynamic, hands-on and close team, where everybody contributes to the daily success of the business.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with existing retailers and distributors to deliver continued growth, while proactively sourcing new accounts that fit the brand’s partner profile, helping continue the brand’s growth and supporting its high-level positioning.

You will have exposure to all parts of the business and be part of an exciting company journey, working closely with the Directors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strengthening relationships with existing key retailers and distributors to ensure continued growth.

  • Sourcing and securing new accounts that align with the brand’s positioning and targeted growth strategy.

  • Enjoying the opportunity to lead negotiations on business commercials.

  • Working with the Directors to implement and deliver sales targets.

  • Liaising with accounts regularly to agree and manage promotional activities and ensure compliance with brand values.

  • Helping develop internal processes to best support your goals.

  • Managing and implementing events, promotional activities and visual merchandising.

  • Managing a team of Sales Reps to ensure continued delivery of targets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience in business-to-business selling of premium beauty products.

  • Established relationships with UK and global accounts would be advantageous.

  • An ability to build and maintain relationships a must.

  • A flexible approach and ability to creatively problem solve.

  • This is a sales role and a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is favoured.

  • Good commercial understanding of what both the brand and retailers / distributors require and ideally a history of negotiating contracts.

  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.

  • Bright, confident and personable

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional written and verbal skills

  • Motivated

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise

  • Strong organisational skills
