The advice we get from experts on our health at this time of year is to not make too many changes at once. Well, the same goes for our skin; many people start an overcomplicated routine that they can’t keep up with, is too expensive, or is so drastic it actually makes skin worse. Making small, but simple long-term changes to your beauty regime can reap amazing rewards. Here are 5 ways to revive and keep skin balanced throughout 2015.

1. Cleanse, cleanse, cleanse

Many dermatologists cite cleansing as being more important than moisturizing. It is absolutely vital you remove the day’s debris from your skin to clear away grime and bacteria. 2. Achieving balance

Skin can be very temperamental at this time of year, with breakouts and dryness occurring often at once and harsh weather conditions making fine lines more pronounced. 3. Exfoliate weekly

4. Nourish your skin
