TenPilates Class Description
The ideal class if you’re new to Dynamic Pilates – or to any kind of Pilates. If you’re a pro just let the instructor know and he’ll be sure to make sure you feel the burn too!
During the classes, you'll be introduced to the equipment, techniques and some of the basic exercises that underpin much of the TenPilates programme. The focus is on understanding how the core muscles work, learning to activate them correctly, and beginning to improve your general strength, flexibility and posture.
Much of the TenPilates workout is based on the Reformer bed, and focuses on the use of specific techniques, learning to isolate muscle groups and activate them correctly. Wear something that's comfortable and will allow you to move freely. You don't need shoes - you'll train either in socks or bare feet, whichever you prefer. Water and towels are provided.
