Ayesha Muttucumaru gets her hair back to its best thanks to this award-winning hairdresser
With a department to tackle any hair type, Errol Douglas’s salon in stylish Belgravia is seen as the place to go, no matter what your hair dilemma. My hair was in need of some serious attention after perhaps overdoing it on the heating appliance front in recent times, so off I went to book myself in for a cut and blow-dry with the man himself to help restore some gloss back to my desert-dry, straightener-scorched locks.
Stylish, spacious yet surprisingly intimate, the décor of the salon was extremely inviting. With a great mix of warm lighting, striking pictures and incredibly comfortable seats, I felt able to kick back and relax while my tresses were expertly tendered to. Funny and easy to talk to, Errol was incredibly down-to-earth, so I felt very much at ease discussing my hair care woes and wishes with him at the beginning of the appointment.
After a thorough consultation, Errol used a selection of moisture boosting and cuticle smoothing Moroccanoil products for an amazing cut and blow-dry that was voluminous, healthy and super shiny – just the way I always wished it looked, but always fall short of actually achieving at home.
Leaving with a bunch of great tips and useful product recommendations too, I will certainly be returning for a follow up appointment in 8-12 weeks time. I would recommend a visit no matter what your hair type - whether it be European, Afro or Asian, straight, curly or wavy. Your hair couldn’t be in better hands. The man has won an MBE for his services to the hairdressing industry after all!
