KERRY POTTER

Our deputy editor needs these seeds

Sucseed Focus, £12.95

“Seed sprinkle mixes are everywhere and this new brand, from journalist-turned-nutritionist Helen Johnston, is a serious contender. It comes in four varieties for different needs: Energy, Immunity, Gut Health and Focus; the one I tried. All contain targeted botanicals and herbs alongside the cold-milled flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. That milling means they’re easily absorbed but also more powdery than most seed mixes, so they work best stirred into porridge, yogurt, soups etc, rather than used to add crunch. The taste is delicate and doesn’t overpower, thus works for both sweet and savoury dishes. What’s more, the ingredients are from UK suppliers that use regenerative farming – and the elegant packaging is too chic to hide in my kitchen cupboard.”

Enertor Recovery Slides, £65

“Backed by Usain Bolt, these highly engineered plastic sandals are designed to be worn after running to aid recovery. The heel height and the springiness of the sole help reduce muscle fatigue and joint pain. I wasn’t sure at first – they’re not the most stylish shoes I’ve ever worn and the design is blokey – but they definitely soothe my troublesome feet (I have big toe arthritis) after my long weekend runs. I just won’t leave the house in them.”

All Dressed Up Intro Bundle, £22 for 4 bottles

“I’m a snob about pre-made salad dressings (I make my own vinaigrette) but these are the real deal. Go for the bargain bundle of Everyday House, Miso & Sesame, Spicy Harissa, and Tahini & Lime. All are currently sitting in my fridge, ready to be drizzled over the thrown-together bowls of random veg, protein and grains that pass for dinner in my house. Launched a year ago by former private chef Tess Reed, the brand recently landed in Waitrose. They contain no refined sugars, gluten nor dairy – and make every meal at least 50 percent more interesting and delicious.”

Nutravita Men's Multivitamins and Minerals, £19.99 for 180 tablets

“The latest from this trustworthy, doctor and nutritionist-led UK supplements brand is a once-daily men’s multivitamin that I’ve nabbed for my husband. Alongside all the standard inclusions, it has adaptogens maca root extract and panax ginseng to support sexual health and testosterone, plus biotin, zinc and selenium for hair, skin and nails. The giant bottle will last six months so it’s excellent value and he won’t run out and forget to re-purchase (the usual story) any time soon.”

ISLA HUFFADINE

Natural deodorant but make it chic? Our content coordinator is on it

Phlur Rose Whip Deodorant, £20

“Don’t be fooled by the name – this natural deodorant isn’t your typical rose scent. Instead it offers a fresh and fruity twist on the classic. I already use the brand’s other deos and love the creamy formula, which feels gentle on skin, with no added aluminium or baking soda. Instead, salicylic acid neutralises odour-causing bacteria. It’s a chic option if you’re starting your natural deo journey – and, most importantly, no one has complained that I smell while wearing it!”

SHOP

Bouf Flouf Factor Growth Tonic, £21.99

“Another viral Aussie brand has landed on our shores – meet Bouf, the affordable haircare brand designed to support thin and shedding hair. Powered by a unique protein, the formula extends the hair’s growth phase, so strands have longer to become thick and healthy. Apply the lightweight tonic twice daily using a simple ‘T’ method: massage one pipette down the centre of the scalp and another along the front hairline. The water-like texture absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue, so it can easily be used on dry hair.”

SHOP

Kind Pulse Patches, £12 for 30 patches

“Supplement patches are having a moment – they’re an easy, affordable way to absorb vitamins without the hassle of swallowing pills. These workout patches are loaded with caffeine and other performance-boosting ingredients to support energy, focus and muscle endurance – perfect to slap on before the gym or even a busy day. The convenience factor appeals the most, and they can be discreet – I wear mine under a watch. At £12 for a month’s supply, they’re decent value too.”

SHOP

One/Size On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray, from £18

“Renowned MUA Patrick Starrr’s brand has just landed at Boots, making it easier to get hold of these viral American faves. There are 11 items in store and online – and I had to try the waterproof setting spray, which promises 16 hours of makeup protection. While I didn’t wear it for that long, I was impressed with how well it kept my makeup in place. The lightweight aerosol delivers a fine, even mist with a matte finish. As festival season approaches, this has earned a spot in my beauty bag.”

FLORENCE SCORDOULIS

Our contributing editor is extremely hydrated

Humantra Mango Electrolytes, £42 for 31 sachets

“These new limited edition mango-flavoured electrolyte powder sachets are out to celebrate Ramadan (which lasts until 19 March), with 30 servings designed to supercharge your hydration during non-fasting hours. But everyone will benefit from the fatigue-busting, mental performance-enhancing combination of vitamins and electrolytes, which we’re all obsessed with right now. With sweet, smooth flavouring that’s almost like iced tea, it’s one of the tastiest electrolyte offerings I’ve tried yet — despite being sugar-free.”

SHOP

Nooānce Paris 360° Beauty Concentrate, £69 for 30 servings

“These premium beauty supplements target the triple whammy of skin, hair and nails, and bone structure. They contain highly bioavailable forms of marine collagen, plus a host of other vitamins for boosting cellular longevity. You might know the brand from their cult LED Face Mask (of which our editorial director is a fan), and this is their inside-out answer to ageing well. I was impressed with the science-backed formula, and they recommend a course of three months to see noticeably firmer skin. Other flavours include cocoa and vanilla, but the red fruits one is my favourite for hiding in a smoothie.”

SHOP

Arkive The Brightside Scent For Hair and Skin, £30

“If you’re battling seasonal blues, this mood-boosting, multi-functional perfume smells like summer with citrusy, floral notes which are designed to increase positivity (a claim I can vouch for!). Plus, the baobab oil adds shine to your locks. It’s the latest edition to celebrity stylist Adam Reed’s affordable haircare range (I’ve had tonnes of compliments when wearing his other scent, No One Elsie). And, at £30 for a long-lasting 50ml bottle that’s bound to cheer you up, it’s a steal.”

SHOP

Palmer’s Tahitian Vanilla Moisture Drenching Whipped Body Cream, £12.99

“This is a Tahitian twist on the classic cocoa butter body cream, with all the usual deep hydration, plus added vanilla for its protective antioxidant benefits. It has a warm, gourmand scent (rather like Sol de Janeiro’s cult Cheirosa ’71 Perfume Mist) thanks to notes of vanilla bean and caramelised sugar. There’s a more lightweight lotion and oil, too, but my dry winter skin prefers this rich, fluffy whip — a little goes a long way.”
