The queen of, well everything really, just posted a slightly cryptic Instagram post but we think it means good hair days are coming all of our way
Prepare yourselves, but it seems a Beyoncé haircare line could be a reality very soon. Queen Bey took to Instagram with a three picture carousel seemingly announcing her foray into haircare. Now this is a celebrity beauty brand we can most definitely get on board with just like Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, which has one of the best cream blushers we’ve ever tried.
Of course, this isn’t Beyoncé’s first stab at the beauty world. She has created a few perfumes with fragrance powerhouse, Coty who also own the fragrance arms of Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co and Calvin Klein. She also bagged a L’Oréal contract and was the face of some of the hair colour brands as well as makeup SKUs.
But back to the concept of a Beyoncé haircare line. What do we know so far? Well only what she’s posted on Instagram.
In the first picture is a snap of Beyoncé sitting at a glam station with her amazing natural hair in tight curls. She’s holding a super thin curling wand in her hand, could electricals be part of the Beyoncé haircare line? But what really caught our eye were the dozen or so lab bottles filled with nameless lotions, liquids and oils.
The second image is of a young Beyoncé having her hair done and the final slide has a ‘release’ from the lady herself saying, “how many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?”
She then goes onto explain that the first gigs Destiny’s Child performed were to women in the salon and that it was through her mum’s business that she was exposed to fellow female entrepreneurs.
“I saw first hand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.” She then ends with, “I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
Neither can we, Beyoncé. Neither can we. As soon as we know more, we’ll share immediately.
