About

Working as a journalist for over 20 years, Becci Vallis has had features published in most of the women’s glossies (some of which are now no more, RIP LOOK and Essentials). Holding positions including Beauty Director at Stylist, Hello and Hello Fashion! and Beauty Editor at Cosmopolitan, she has also written for The Telegraph, Red, Women’s Health, Grazia, Glamour, Elle and Country & Townhouse. For the past 6 years, Becci has also been editor of Vitality magazine, part of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) which means she’s always at the forefront of what’s going on behind-the-scenes in beauty.

Adding health and wellness to her ‘things she writes about’ remit, these days she can be found penning features on anything from biohacking and longevity to infrared and electrolytes. Fitness has nuzzled its way into her routine too after discovering boxing almost a decade ago. So much so, she trained to be an instructor and now
teaches boxing classes weekly, including a girls only class (age 6-16) to empower the younger generations and because she wished she’d discovered the sport sooner.

When she’s not writing or boxing, she’s walking her black labrador and sidekick, Enid (who is known in all the local coffee shops) and weighing up if it’s too late to become a digital nomad. Her last Google search was ‘how do you get dogs to Ibiza?’. If anyone wants to commission her to travel the world to write a book on ‘dog-friendly spas’, Becci is game.
