The Body Coach has been meal prepping an entire Lean in 15 vegetarian plan. If you’re looking for veggie recipe inspo for training and rest days, preheat the oven…

He’s pulled off probably the biggest PR campaign possible for broccoli (a 25 per cent rise in ‘midget tree’ sales in 2016 was attributed to The Body Coach plan) and his penchant for sweet potato is well known, but now the bank of #VeggieLeanin15 recipes is set to widen, with the launch of Joe Wicks’ Veggie Plan.

The PT and pioneer of the healthy 15 minute meal programme announced the launch of The Veggie Plan by way of a collage of some of his favourite plant-based emojis (no guesses there) across his social media feeds, and he’s recently been uploading such Lean in 15 delights as “meatless meatballs”, veggie frittatas, curried carrots and burrata with bruschetta (swanky) to drum up interest for the launch. The plan has been in development for a while according to Joe, and we’re told he’s shooting the book and recipes as we speak. Here’s the lowdown on everything we know about the Lean in 15 Veggie Plan so far…

Wicks is making us wait

Hold your plant-based horses- Joe’s seventh book and first vegetarian cookbook, Veggie Lean in 15, is set to be published on 13th December. At least we won’t be limited to a nut roast come Christmas.

There will be 100 veggie recipes

Many of which will cater for vegans too.

There’s more to meat-free than omelettes

While we expect eggs, the fact that so many of the recipes will also be vegan suggests that Joe Wicks’ approach to plant-based will be more adventurous than simply whisking up some yolks. To whet your appetite, a few confirmed recipes are spinach and ricotta ravioli with salsa verde and smoky sweet potato chilli. The recipes are also designed to have mass appeal, serving vegans, veggies, flexitarians and Meat Free Monday followers alike, and they’re perfecting balanced for workout days and rest days. The meal prep routine will continue as per, and as the title implies, recipes are quick to make.

You’ll get more Body Coach Workouts

Veggie Lean in 15 will include five exclusive Body Coach HIIT workouts.

The whirlwind that is Joe Wicks looks to be showing no signs of slowing down…
