With its first store set to open in London’s Westfield, Sephora UK has some tricks up their sleeves to get everyone rushing for a visit. See you there!

Depending on how much of a beauty obsessive you are, you may have been counting down the days until the first (kind of) Sephora UK bricks-and-mortar store opened. Well, if that is you then you don’t have long to go as Sephora UK has just announced that they will open the doors to their new, and very swanky, store in London Westfield on 8 March.
And not that we need any incentive to get there on opening day but the first 300 customers will all receive a free, limited-edition gift bag. If you pop in later on in the day you can watch a makeup masterclass from makeup artist and brand founder, Natasha Denona - who beautifies the faces of celebrities such as Gal Gadot. And throughout the opening week there will be additional masterclasses from brand experts from Tarte, ilia, The Inkey List and Huda Beauty.
In terms of what you should be looking out for in the store there will be express skin treatments on offer as well as a Benefit Brow Bar. At the Lip Bar you can find a curated edit of the best lip products and if having the latest, buzziest product is up your street then head to the Social Corner where you can find the 10 most talked about products of the moment.Sephora UK officially launched here in the UK back in October 2022 after taking over what was previously feelunique.com and, perhaps unsurprisingly, was an instant hit. Now the cult beauty retailer is bedding in roots on the British high street by opening their first store in London Westfield in March.
The 6000+ sq ft store will also showcase all the brands that are exclusive to Sephora UK such as the sought after brand from the Kardashian's makeup artist, Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Patrick Starr One/Size Beauty and the brand that Nicole Kidman has invested in Vegamour as well as giving some brands their first-ever physical retail space such as makeup range Tarte, SPF brand Supergoop! and skincare from Glow Recipe.
All in all, there will be over 135 brands housed in the new space with products spanning makeup, skin and body care, hair care, fragrance and gifting. And as well as browsing for the latest products ‘personal services’ will also be on offer so we are predicting it will be a place you can head to for some of your beauty maintenance treatments.
Sephora UK: the store
The first store is located in London Westfield, one of Europe's biggest shopping malls. The facade will be covered in the retailer's recognisable black and white stripes. However, this isn’t actually Sephora UK’s first appearance on the high street. Those of a certain age may remember when the French beauty retailer had a dalliance on some British high streets back in the early noughties. For reasons we could never quite fathom, it never took off or gained the popularity and reach that it has in the States. However, this time after a very successful digital launch a physical store is what the already established Sephora UK customer has been asking for. “After the very successful launch of sephora.co.uk and our app last autumn, we have been inundated with questions about our plans to open stores,” says Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK. “As the creator of multi-category, multi-experience prestige beauty retailing, we are thrilled to bring London a store that aspires to meet the needs of every beauty occasion.”
What brands does Sephora UK have?
There will be over 135 brands stocked in the store however the website stocks 1,400 brands including hero brands such as Pat McGrath Labs, Fenty Beauty, Rose Inc and JVN. There's Sephora’s own brand, Sephora Collection which has skincare and makeup. And then there are the all-important exclusive brands. Then there are brands not previously shoppable in the UK such as the cult makeup brand, Makeup by Mario created by makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic; One/Size a makeup range created by makeup artist and mega influencer, Patrick Starrr as Tarte Cosmetics, Ilia Beauty and Skinfix
Skincare to shop at Sephora UK
Will there ever be more Sephora UK stores?
Nothing has been released officially but we’re hoping that once the London Westfield Sephora UK store is open and established more will pop up around the country after that.
Why should I shop at Sephora UK?
Well, there are quite a few customer incentives and loyalty schemes. First up a premier online delivery service which costs £9.95 per year and gives you next-day delivery on every order. Sephora UK has kept the Feelunique reward programme just with a new name but still offers £5 for every £75 spent, ten per cent off two of your favourite brands and ten per cent when it’s your birthday.
