This week, we’ve found two trending-on-TikTok buys that are definitely worth your time – a K-beauty winner that smells like matcha, and a Mancunian MUA’s clever stacking blusher. Plus we’ve got plenty of new tanning and SPF launches, the ultimate silk pillow on which to rest your weary head and our Isla is finally eating her greens like a good girl. It can only be Glossy Picks time – let’s get stuck in!

SJ CORFIELD-SMITH

This TikTok makeup brand is worthy of a wider audience, says our beauty director

Jordana Ticia Blush Duo in Sugar Coated, £17

“Created by Mancunian makeup artist Jordana Ticia Banks, this is a makeup brand known for inclusive shades and fun but wearable textures. Having found its feet on social media, it’s now available in Space NK, with most items are priced between £17 and £30 and of beautiful quality. This blusher spoke to me instantly, not only because it’s a perfect dusky rose, but the packaging is genius. It is three magnetic discs (one is a mirror, one a cream blush and the other a powder blush) that stack together making them ideal for travel , and should you buy another shade, you can click it onto your stack.”

Bare By Vogue Overnight Tan Mask, £26

“There’s much I love about this overnight tanning mask, created by TV presenter Vogue Willliams. Firstly, it has a press-down dosing lid which means the perfect amount is dispensed (one pump is perfect for the whole face). Then there’s the texture – a lovely velvety smooth cream that doesn’t feel tacky and sinks in quickly. The scent is also gorgeous, not anything like a tanning product, more like a night cream and it has the hydration levels to match too. Then there’s the result – it creates the perfect golden glow that doesn’t look like it has come out of a tub. Utterly brilliant.”

The Breakout Hack Pimple Patches in Pilates Princess, £12.99 for 32 patches

“The Breakout Hack is an Australian brand that focuses on skin and body care for blemish prone skin. And these have to be the cutest pimple patches I’ve ever seen. Made from hydrocolloid (a fabric known for wound healing), they create the perfect protective atmosphere to speed up the life cycle of a spot and prevent picking. They come in a mirrored compact and there are three different ‘themes’: Party Princess, Pop Princess and Pilates Princess. Each contains four whimsical designs that are very much to be shown off and admired.”

Dior Forever Nude Bronze Glow in Coral Bronze, £61

“Just look at the lid of this limited edition compact. It’s covered in leather daisies and there’s a little metal ladybird hiding inbetween. And the inside is just as stunning: a mix of two bronzer shades, a hint of gold and pink powder also set in a daisy motif with the brand logo on top. The idea is to swirl your brush over the top to blend all the colours and sweep over the face to create the perfect sunkissed glow, but I’m just not sure I can bear to ruin such perfection!”

Supergoop Mineral Glowscreen Soft-Radiance Drops SPF 30, £36.50

“With so many SPFs available, choosing the right one can feel overwhelming – but if you’re after a glowy tinted option, listen up. This multitasker protects while giving skin a healthy bronzed glow. I’ve been wearing the deeper shade (there’s a lighter option too) on its own to even out my complexion, though it also works well as a makeup primer. (Despite the name, it’s not drops, more like a tinted moisturiser with benefits). With UVA, UVB and SPF 30 protection, it’s ideal for anyone who dislikes the feel and finish of traditional suncream. Just remember to reapply every few hours.”

Rheal Clean Greens Superfood Blend in Berry, £25 for 30 days

“I’ll admit my diet isn’t always as nutritious as it should be, which is why this good value wellness drink has been a great addition to my routine. Packed with nutrients I’m likely lacking, it makes consuming more greens easy. With eight superfoods (wheat and barley grass, and spirulina among them) and no additives, it promises to support immunity and boost energy levels. The pleasant berry flavour is a bonus, masking the grassy taste often associated with greens powders. Simply mix a teaspoon into water or juice and stir well to prevent clumps.”

Benefit Dream Sheen Brow Glaze, £26

“Glazed nails had their moment – now it’s all about glazed brows. This tinted gel from the OG brow experts Benefit is leading the way, combining tint, hold and shine in one easy step. Simply brush it through to shape and set; the fine bristles offer precision without leaving brows sticky or crunchy. Available in three shades, it adds subtle colour for a fuller-looking finish. I’m impressed with how healthy and glossy my brows look.”

Basics By B Body Glow, £26

“I’ve always avoided shimmery body oils, worried they’d leave me looking greasy or glittery. But this tinted body lotion delivers a luminous glow rather than a sparkly finish. Although the formula initially looks quite dark, it blends well to create a natural radiance and can be layered for a deeper bronze. Fine flecks of shimmer add an instant sheen to the chest, arms and legs. While it’s not something I’d wear every day, it’s perfect for special occasions or nights out when you want to look extra glam.”

Orabella Body and Hair Perfume Mist Golden Brulee, £32

“Founded last year, supermodel Bella Hadid’s perfume brand is essentially a hybrid between fragrance and skincare — thanks to its skin-nourishing, alcohol-free, water-based concoctions. These new perfume mists for hair and body are lighter (and more affordable) with a clever shake-to-activate formula that delivers both hydration and longer-lasting scent. This gourmand vanilla flavour smells like dessert, with a coconut water infusion that leaves your skin glowy and moisturised.”

Neom Squeeze The Day Body Wash, £32

“This luxury shower gel upgrades your everyday wash into a ‘wellbeing shower’, when you don’t have time for long baths. There’s three new aromatherapy concoctions for de-stressing, mood-boosting and, my favourite: an energising morning cocktail of grapefruit, mandarin and cooling eucalyptus — which really does help you wake up on the right side of the bed. It lathers up generously with a shower puff and isn’t drying on your skin, thanks to hydrating aloe vera and vitamin E.”

Clinique UV Solutions Mattifying Sunscreen SPF 50, £30

“This lightweight sunscreen looks seamless both under and over makeup, because it helps control excess shine and doesn’t leave a white cast. It also contains antioxidants like vitamin E to protect the skin from environmental damage and pollution throughout the day. Plus, the salicylic acid helps to reduce pore-clogging oils. Ideal for easy, daily reapplication (with strong SPF 50 protection) now that the weather is heating up.”

Tirtir Matcha PDRN Toner Pads, £23

“This affordable K-beauty brand is big on TikTok and all about achieving that infamous glass skin (dewy but set). I’m obsessed with their new matcha-infused toner pads for an intensive, fuss-free hydration hit, that sinks in quickly. They contain 2% niacinamide, antioxidant-rich matcha and trending ingredient PDRN for calming redness and refining skin texture. Your new daily cuppa!”

Drowsy Breakfast at Drowsy Silk Pillowcase, £79

“Silk pillowcase fans, I’ve found the most luxurious one yet. From sleep experts Drowsy, it’s inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s aesthetic and pairs with their signature sleep masks. In sumptuous turquoise mulberry silk and finished with cute frilly edges, it mean less hair frizz and it’s also amazing for your skin – no sleep lines, less irritation, and you wake up feeling a little more polished. Well-priced next-level indulgence.”

Ukhair Advanced Hair Supplements, £24.99 for a 1 month supply

“If you’ve noticed your hair thinning or breaking, this supplement – from a brand known for its results-driven approach to hair and lash growth – is definitely worth a look. What stands out is how science-led the formulation is – packed with biotin to support growth, zinc to maintain a strong follicle and selenium for scalp health.  It feels like a considered approach rather than a quick fix.  They recommend taking two capsules consistently for three months to see results.”

Emporio Armani Power Of You EdP, £62 for 30ml

“This is one of those perfumes that just makes you feel good the moment you put it on. It opens with a lovely fruity hit (you definitely get the passionfruit), then softens into something a more creamy and warm with hints of vanilla. Not too sweet or overpowering, it settles really nicely and is fresh enough for daytime, but with enough warmth to carry into the evening. I’m smitten.”

Ultrasun Photo Age Control Fluid, £25

“This SPF50+ feels like proper skincare as well as sun protection. It’s lightweight, sinks in beautifully and doesn’t leave that heavy, greasy feeling some SPFs do. I also love that it’s fragrance-free and kind to sensitive skin, which makes it easy to wear every day under makeup.  A stand out for me is its focus on preventing and helping reduce pigmentation. A smart multitasker – and good value too.”
