About

Meet Clementine Vaughan: a holistic dietitian, based in London, who is on a mission to support women with their hormone health, gut issues, weight management and wellbeing.

Partnership feature

Clementine Vaughan is a holistic dietician based in London — and the founder of Third Sister: an empowering community that aims to heal women at all life stages through unlocking the transformative power of food.

She specialises in hormonal health, including PCOS, endometriosis and menopause, as well as in pregnancy and postpartum, and with gut issues. Plus, she offers nutritional support for medicalised weight loss, and can help with meal planning for general lifestyle changes.

As both a registered dietitian and a qualified nutritionist, she brings a unique skillset to her mission. What’s the difference, you might ask? A dietitian is regulated by The Health and Care Professionals Council, trained in the NHS and qualified to provide guidance on medical issues; whereas a nutritionist is an expert on nutrients and their impact on your body, ideal for broader wellness changes. So, Clementine combines these two schools into a science-backed approach that looks at the whole picture, in order to create long-lasting results — and ensure that the diet fits the person, not the other way round.

She has a degree in neuroscience, as well as a masters in nutrition and a post-graduate diploma in dietetics from King’s College London — in addition to having worked in this capacity within the food and drinks industry. Plus, she is registered with HCPC and a member of the British Dietetics Association.

You will begin with a free initial 60-90 minute consultation, where you’ll come away feeling deeply listened to: she believes that every woman’s story is unique and deserves to be heard. Then, you can either work with her via a three or six month programme, which involves a personalised diet plan and educational materials, medical testing, regular one-hour sessions and one-on-one messaging support (as well as the option to book follow-up sessions). She also has a specific weight management package to support those using and transitioning from weight loss drugs like Ozempic.

When you visit Vaughan at one of her homely clinics in Fulham, Kensington or Knightsbridge (you won’t find any stark white lighting here) or work with her online, you’ll find an empathetic, friendly guiding hand. Having experienced the transformative power of nutrition in her own recovery from burnout in her early 30s, she knows first hand the importance of small, sustainable changes. This is less about harsh restrictions and more about what you can add into your diet.

Indeed, the name Third Sister is inspired by her own position as the youngest of three sisters, having grown up in a Franco-British household where food was a central gathering point for family to connect and share stories — and about much more than just nutrition: emotion, culture, tradition. There is an instant sense that she has your back and a consultation will feel like having a chat with a sister. (She even runs a podcast, Dis(h) Information, all about myth-busting nutrition, with the second sister!).

At the core of Clementine’s work is a passion for supporting other women: because, as she puts it, “women’s health is disproportionately underfunded with medical research and development”.
