It’s the US brand that’s now available in Sephora UK and Space NK but where to start? We tried out the range and this is our pick of the top five products you might want to snap up
There has been an influx of US makeup brands hitting our shores of late; Merit Beauty and Saie being two, but the latest making its way onto your radar is Kosas. Already loved by Hailey Bieber, creator of her own skincare brand Rhode - and when she loves a product or a brand it is guaranteed to go stratospheric.
Kosas’ point of difference is that it’s makeup with skin and hair (we say hair, we mean the hairs on your brows and lashes) benefits. All the products have the kind of active ingredients that tie-in with why you would be using that product to begin with. For example the concealer contains caffeine and pink algae to brighten under the eyes as well as arnica and vitamin b5 to soothe spots. The brow pencil utilises the benefits of castor oil to help hair to grow longer and stronger.
We were lucky enough to take a look at the range in all it’s glory in the new Sephora UK store but it’s also available in Space NK. It may even be that Kosas already looks slightly familiar to you and that’s because it has been available online at Cult Beauty for a little while, but now you can touch and feel it in stores so if you’re looking to find the best foundation - and the Kosas one has quite the following on TikTok - in your perfect shade you can try it on rather than having to make a potentially expensive guess online.

1. The cult concealer: Revealer Concealer, £25

If you are Hailey Bieber fans like we’re Hailey Bieber fans (we’re still swooning over Hailey Bieber glazed donut nails) then this concealer may be familiar to you as it’s one that she uses. Last year she took to her TikTok channel to share how she does her quick and easy makeup routine that started with this concealer. Available in 28 shades it contains spot calming and skin brightening ingredients and because of this the finish is not too glowy (you wouldn’t want that on spots but if glow is your thing take a look at Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer, £26) but not too matte (you don’t want that under eyes), it sits somewhere nicely in the middle.
2. The fluffy brow gel: Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Treatment Gel, £20
Coming in tinted shades - there are an impressive ten to choose from - as well as a clear option, this brow gel lifts brows up and shapes them much like many other brow gels but it has really good staying-power without making brows feel crispy and hard. Like the brow pencil it contains castor oil to hydrate the hair and make it stronger.
3. The better than skin foundation: Revealer Foundation SPF25, £35
Containing a whole spectrum of skincare ingredients such as niacinamide (we’re always going on about the benefits of niacinamide), hydrating squalane and hyaluronic acid as well as skin energising caffeine and strengthening peptides this has been designed to look like your skin but better and it comes in an impressive 36 shades. We found that it goes on best either with your fingers, something about the warmth of your skin makes it melt into the skin better than a brush, or a sponge is also a great way to get it on. It feels really light on the skin and similarly to the concealer is neither too glowy or too flat.
4. The non-stingy lip plumper: Wet Lip Oil, £20
You could quite easily use this without realising it has lip plumping capabilities as it comes with none of the usual sting and tingle that many others do. Instead it has a creamy balmy texture (it’s called an oil but it’s not oily in any way) that gives lips a wash of colour but nothing too over the top. If you like a lip balm but a subtle hint of colour too, this does just that.
5. The sporty deodorant: Kosasport Chemistry AHA Serum Deodorant, £14
Finding great natural deodorants isn’t easy but this is a good place to start. It is aluminium-free and contains AHAs that help with ingrown hairs and smooth the skin as well as peptides and hyaluronic to keep the skin soft. We’re pretty sure you don’t have to do some sport to wear it as the name may suggest but we have put it through it’s paces on a run and a sweaty pilates class and it did the trick. It comes in an unscented version as well as two scented options; Serene Clean which has quite a zesty fresh scent and Beauty Clean which has a creamy vanilla and jasmine scent.
